It was common practice in Medieval England for the people
to practice archery every Sunday to keep their skills up. Nearly all medieval
towns in England had what are called butts, which is a place where people
could practice their archery skills. Even today many towns still have Butts
Road or Butts Lane, presumably related to where villagers practiced their
archery.
Today your team will be taught the noble art of Archery in preparation for
the battle at “Agincourt”.
