And we don't just mean you should shell out for that well known award! We mean really invest.
Get rid of the Human Resources department, re-humanise your organisation with a personnel Department. Motivate your staff, leaving them to just get on with the daily grind is not the way forward. Be proactive, organise team building. But not just any team building, make it Knightactive team building.

Why?
A Knightactive medieval corporate event develops the key skills needed for a team to run effectively - communication, listening, co-operation and problem solving - in an enjoyable context. But how does our fun day motivate? That's an easy one to answer, through team identity and challenge in a thoroughly enjoyable atmosphere.
During the day the teams will compete in events such as the Battle of Agincourt, pulling a boar to the kitchen, trebuchet building and joust training.
Why choose an event in the Lake District? Put simply, why not? There is easy access from the motorway, stunning scenery and some top quality country house hotel venues. So bring your team out of the city into the country to improve their skills, motivation and productivity.
Or just do it as a reward for their loyalty and hard work over the year.
About the Lake District
According to the Wikipedia the Lake District ...
"... lies entirely within Cumbria, and is one of England's few mountainous regions. All the land in England higher than three thousand feet above sea level lies within the National Park, including Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England."
Talking of Scafell Pike, that is why the Lakes is so dramatic, the top 25 mountains are either close to 3000 feet high or exceed the 3000 foot mark. The valleys are narrow and U shaped, thanks to the work of the glaciers during the last Ice Age so the slopes are steep and have a character all of their own. Imagine your team relaxing in such an environment, arriving back to work refreshed ...
Despite being called the Lake District, there is only one 'lake' - Bassenthwaite Lake since all of the rest are called meres (e.g. Windermere) or waters (e.g. Ullswater). For enjoyable company days out, either after or before your Medieval Fun Day, there are plenty of less strenuous places, visit towns such as Kendal, Keswick, Ambleside and Grasmere, home and inspiration for the poet Wordsworth, or visit Beatrix Potter's house, take a trip on the Ravenglass Railway or visit the massive Rheged Centre.
But you don't need a full day to feel the benefit, any of our medieval activities can be arranged as a short (minimum 1 hour) event
